Rudavia is a project born out of a need for peace. On family land, I am building a space to completely disconnect from the world – a secluded house for those who want to disappear from the radar. This place is in my genes. In this swamp from the photo, as children, we bathed in duckweed, knee-deep in mud, laughing loudly. My grandfather, in turn, used to dig peat here for fuel.


After years of the big-city rush, I realized that this wild corner gives me an absolute sense of security. I am creating Rudavia on the foundation of family history.


In 1984, my mother, as the first and only one in the region, thanks to her enormous passion for gardening, promoted the Ciechocin commune in the national TVP1 program. For her, it was not just an ordinary vegetable garden or a flower garden. My mother was already a precursor of ecology, natural composting, and a healthy life – long before it became fashionable.


Today I am coming full circle. I return to the same 4 hectares to combine childhood memories, my grandfather's respect for local raw materials, and my mother's ecological passion. This is how a retreat is created, where luxury means the right to be offline, silence, and peace of mind.
